Premium Sea Buckthorn Drink with Pulp Oil – 750ml

$ 11.15

The sea buckthorn juice is partially de-oiled using a gentle process that removes the pulp oil. However, 3.5% of the sea buckthorn pulp oil – out of a total content of 5–6% – remains in the partially de-oiled juice, which is diluted with water to drinking strength, sweetened with organic sugar and stabilised with apple pectin. The juice of this soft drink is unique and fruity – with notes of apricot, peach and passion fruit, and a delicately tart flavour. The texture is slightly creamy, similar to apricot nectar. The bottle should be shaken before pouring into a glass. Children particularly love this juice. Tip: The juice can be drunk neat or topped up with water or carbonated water. Children especially love this fruity drink because of its apricot aroma and slight creaminess. You are also welcome to use the juice to enhance buttermilk. Or as a fruity addition to sparkling wine/Prosecco or Verjus Frizz, or for long drinks and cocktails. Ingredients from certified organic cultivation Water, organic sea buckthorn fruit juice (25%)*, organic beet sugar, thickening agent: pectin Pack size and contents 0.75 litre glass bottle with screw cap. Store unopened at room temperature. Once opened, store in a cool place and consume promptly. Not suitable for diabetics. Quality and sensory characteristics Sea buckthorn is a complex fruit. Similar to the olive, its pulp contains a flavour-giving fatty component known as sea buckthorn pulp oil. In products of natural origin, changes in colour or cloudiness may occur. After standing for a prolonged period, the product may be prone to slight sedimentation or separation. This is a sign of quality. Shake before use. This premium organic sea buckthorn pulp oil from Austria, thanks to its natural vitamin E (tocopherol) content, acts as an antioxidant to help protect cells from oxidative stress. The provitamin A it contains also supports the maintenance of normal vision. As with many fine things, the same applies to sea buckthorn pulp oil – it is a rare commodity. This is because ripe sea buckthorn berries contain only small amounts of this valuable oil.
